Russel Lokun Landscape and Design was built on a simple foundation: a genuine love for working with plants and pavers. Russel started this company because outdoor spaces matter. A well-drained yard, a solid brick patio, a retaining wall that holds for decades — these things change how homeowners live and feel about their property.

Russel runs every project himself, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. There is no handoff to a crew you have never met. When you call, you reach the person doing the work. That start-to-finish ownership keeps the quality consistent and the communication clear.

How We Work

From your first call through project completion, Russel manages every detail. We handle drainage, design, and installation so you get exactly what you envisioned.

Initial Consultation

Call us at 847-590-0018 or email russeljlokun@aol.com to discuss your drainage, patio, or landscape project. We listen to your vision and answer any questions about our work.

Site Assessment

Russel visits your property to evaluate grading, soil, and design options. We walk through the space with you and explain what's possible.

Design and Build

We handle the full project from landscape design through installation of patios, retaining walls, sod, lighting, and stonework. You stay informed every step of the way.

Project Completion

We finish the work, clean up the site, and walk you through the final result. Your new landscape is ready to enjoy.

We work in Barrington Hills, Arlington Heights, Lake Forest, Schaumburg, and 10 other North Shore communities. Open 8am to 4pm, Monday through Saturday.

Our courtyard was an overgrown mess when we bought the house. Now it is a lovely area perfect for enjoying the outdoors with worry-free pavers installed by Russ Lokun. Russ assisted us with helpful design and paver brick ideas. His crew showed up on time, cleared away all remnants of the old courtyard and installed a brand new one -- including an heated pathway to melt the snow. (We have not had snow to test the mat's effectiveness yet.) Russ was recommended by our new neighbors and we have no reason to regret our choice. Russ is a pleasant fellow to deal with and his crew is friendly and professional. A small hands-on business that does an exceptional job start to final inspection.
